These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the text messaging (SMS/MMS) program offered by Hoops & Gears and the automotive and tire repair shops that use its scheduling platform (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “the shop”).

1. Program Description

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages including appointment and service reminders, confirmations, vehicle service updates, and follow-up messages, and you may exchange conversational messages with the shop about your vehicle or appointment. Messages are transactional and informational; we do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

2. Consent and Opt-In

You consent to receive text messages by checking the consent box during online booking, or by providing verbal consent in person when scheduling an appointment. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may instead book an appointment by phone without providing a mobile number.

3. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

4. Opting Out

You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive text messages from us. To rejoin, opt in again through booking.

5. Help

For help, reply HELP to any message or contact your shop directly using the phone number provided at the time of booking.

6. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

7. Privacy

Your information is handled in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy. We will not share or sell your mobile opt-in information for third-party marketing purposes.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
